The Media Forum will comprise one plenary meeting, three sessional meetings and one final meeting. The main topic of the forum will be discussion of the modern media impact on public opinion and international agenda. Special attention will be paid to freedom of journalism in the context of human rights and information security, as well as the phenomenon of “Fake News”.
More than 60 Russian and foreign public figures, a number of Ambassadors Extraordinary who have worked in Russia and Muslim countries, well known politicians, journalists, publishers and bloggers will take part in the Forum.

Day 1 – 25 September – arrival of the Media Forum participants

8.30-9.30 – registration of the participants
9.00-10.00 – plenary session “The Impact of the Media on Public Opinion and International Agenda” (Forum opening, speakers’ introductory remarks and officials’ welcoming speech)
The first session “Information-Psychological Wars and their Impact of Public Opinion”
The second session ““Fake News”: Response and Counteraction Strategies”
The third session: “Freedom of Journalism in the Context of Human Rights and Information Security”
From 17.00 – cultural programme
Day 3 – 27 September 2019
9.00-11.00 – final session (moderators’ closing speech, adoption of the final document)
From 11.30 – meetings of Forum participants, cultural programme
19.00 – protocol event
Day 4 – 28 September 2019 – departure of the Media Forum participants
