Today Mohammed bin Salman has hosted a high-level Russian inter-ministerial delegation in Riyadh with the participation of the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for a Syrian settlement Alexander Lavrentiev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Vershinin and Representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, there was a detailed conversation about the issues of bilateral relations, as well as the situation for the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region.
Special attention was paid to the tasks of ensuring a long-term political settlement in Syria based on the resolutions of the UN Security Council and providing the necessary assistance in the post-conflict reconstruction of the country.
