State Secretary - Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Grigory Karasin held a meeting with the UN representative at the Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in the South Caucasus, Jihan Sultanoglu.
According to the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during the conversation, a thorough exchange of views took place on the security situation in Transcaucasia, as well as on the work of the joint mechanism on preventing and responding to incidents on the borders of Abkhazia and Georgia. In addition, the parties discussed the preparation of a new round of international discussions in Geneva, which, we recall, is scheduled for early April.
