Danila Ganich has been appointed the new extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Pakistan. The head of the Russian state Vladimir Putin has signed the relevant decree. The document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
«To appoint Danila Viktorovich Ganish as the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan», the decree says.
Earlier, Alexey Dedov has been holding the post of Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Pakistan for six years.
Ganich was previously Deputy Director of the Second Department of Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
