The Russians were appealed to refuse to travel to Sri Lanka

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia has published an announcement with the situation in Sri Lanka after a series of terrorist attacks where 310 people were killed.

 

 


As it is known that today in Sri Lanka, the state of emergency is beginning to operate. The country introduced enhanced security measures. Along with the police, military personnel are involved in policing.

 

 

In different regions of the country, operations are underway to detain the organizers and perpetrators of terrorist acts.

 

 


In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation recommends to Russian citizens to refrain from visiting Sri Lanka until the situation is normalized.

 

 

“For those who can’t refuse to travel or are already in the country, we advise to be extremely careful and not to go to crowded places,” it is noted in the message.
