The third plane of the Russian Emergencies Ministry arrived in Beirut

The third plane of the Russian Emergencies Ministry arrived in Beirut, which was damaged by a powerful explosion in the port, the press service of the Ministry reported TASS.

 

 

"At 08:04 Moscow time, the Il-76 plane landed in Beirut," the source said. This is the third plane sent to Lebanon. The Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that three flights to Beirut brought an airmobile hospital, doctors, rescuers and psychologists of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, as well as specialists from Rospotrebnadzor with the necessary equipment to deploy a laboratory to detect a new coronavirus infection.


Russian rescuers will deploy a mobile hospital at the Rafik Hariri stadium in Beirut, which can take 200 victims on an outpatient basis per day, and its hospital is designed for 50 people. In addition, they will be involved in the analysis of rubble to search for victims. There are already more than 100 Russian specialists in Beirut, and their total group will be about 150 people. In the near future, two more EMERCOM planes will arrive in Lebanon, one of them is already in the air.
