The tourist season in Turkey due to the pandemic will start at the end of May, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the country Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said.
"We expect that the beginning of the tourist season will be postponed until the end of May. The revival will occur primarily in domestic tourism,” the official was quoted as saying by the Anadolu Agency.
International air traffic in Turkey, according to Ersoy, will most likely be renewed by the end of June.
