Tokayev and Putin discuss trade development between Kazakhstan and Russia

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Friday, during which they discussed the development of trade between the countries. This was reported by the press service of the head of Kazakhstan.


"The presidents discussed in detail the current state of development of Kazakh-Russian cooperation in the trade and economic sphere. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked Vladimir Putin for the invitation to take part in the anniversary meeting of the heads of the [Organization of] Collective Security Treaty states in mid-May in Moscow," the statement said.


In addition, the leaders decided to instruct the governments of the two countries to focus on resolving issues that require prompt resolution.
