President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Sochi, where he will meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Friday, the press service of the head of the republic said.
"President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in the city of Sochi on a working visit. As part of the visit, the head of state will hold a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin," the report said.
As the Kremlin press service informed earlier, as a part of the regular dialogue at the highest level it is planned to discuss further development of Russia-Kazakhstan relations and strategic partnership and cooperation. In addition, issues of bilateral cooperation within the framework of integration associations will be discussed, including the CIS, which Kazakhstan is chairing this year.
According to the press service of the president of Kazakhstan, the negotiations will discuss topical issues of bilateral strategic partnership, including further development of trade and economic cooperation.
