Tokayev congratulated Putin on registering the world's first vaccine against COVID-19

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory telegram to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the registration of the world's first vaccine against the coronavirus infection. This was reported by the press service of the head of Kazakhstan on Wednesday.


"This event confirms the high potential and authority of Russian science, as well as the leading role of Russia in the fight against this global threat. We are grateful to you for your continued support of Kazakhstan in this difficult time for the whole world, including for sending humanitarian aid and doctors who made a significant contribution to improving the sanitary and epidemiological situation in our country," Tokayev said.

 

 

The Kazakh authorities will send a delegation to Russia by the end of August to discuss the purchase of the Russian coronavirus vaccine.
