Tokayev Expresses Condolences to Putin Over Dagestan Terror Attacks

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the terror attacks in Dagestan and offered assistance in conducting operational search activities. This was reported by the press service of the President of Kazakhstan.

 

"President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed sincere condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the terrorist attacks on Orthodox churches and a synagogue in Dagestan, which resulted in casualties among clergy and law enforcement officers," the statement published on the press service's Telegram channel said.

 

Tokayev emphasized that "Kazakhstan strongly condemns this inhumane act and advocates for the development of multilateral cooperation in the fight against terrorism under the auspices of the UN, SCO, and other reputable international organizations," the press service added.
