Tokayev said that Russia and Kazakhstan are "God-given neighbors"

Russia and Kazakhstan will achieve the desired results on the way of strategic interaction, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is confident.


"We are determined to achieve concrete results in our strategic interaction in allied relations," the Kazakh head of state said at talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin. Tokayev believes that the countries "will achieve the desired results, especially since the political will is present."


"Kazakhstan and Russia are God-given neighbors, we have the longest land border in the world, and there can be [nothing else] but friendship, cooperation in the relationship between our countries," Tokayev is sure.


He noted that during the current visit he plans to hold "an exchange of views on a number of topical issues that really affect the strategic interests of Kazakhstan" and Russia. "Important agreements will be signed," the Kazakh leader promised.
