On July 25, the Foreign Ministers of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, namely Sergey Lavrov, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, are scheduled to conduct trilateral talks in Moscow. Additionally, they will also hold separate bilateral talks. The main objective of these meetings is to analyze and explore potential avenues for de-escalating the tense situation surrounding the Nagorno-Karabakh region, the Russian MFA reports.

"On July 25, Moscow will host trilateral and separate bilateral talks between Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia Sergey Lavrov, Jeyhun Bayramov, and Ararat Mirzoyan," stated the Russian foreign ministry.

"During these discussions, the foreign ministers will carefully analyze various ways to de-escalate the situation surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh. Additionally, they will actively work towards implementing the trilateral agreements made by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on November 9, 2020, January 11, November 26, 2021, and October 31, 2022," the ministry further added.

According to the Russian MFA, during the meeting, the participating sides will give special focus to several key issues. These include the "preparation of a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan, with Russia being prepared to provide maximum assistance in this regard." "The ministers will also address other crucial aspects of Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization. This will involve topics such as unblocking transport communications in the region, delimitation of the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia, establishing contacts through the public and experts, and initiating a dialogue among parliamentarians," the ministry's report reads.

The ministry concluded that during the separate bilateral talks with Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan, the discussions will primarily revolve around addressing current issues within the Russian-Azerbaijani and Russian-Armenian agendas. The key areas of focus during these talks will include political matters, trade and economic relations, as well as humanitarian cooperation.
