Trump: the US is ready to send ventilators to Russia to fight the coronavirus

The United States is ready to provide Russia with artificial lung ventilation devices to fight the coronavirus, President Donald Trump told a briefing for journalists at the White House.


"I think Russia is going to need ventilators. They're having a hard time in Moscow.  We're going to help them,” he said.


Trump noted that the U.S. was also ready to send coronavirus aid to other countries including Italy, Spain and France.


Earlier, Russia sent a batch of medical products to the United States to fight the coronavirus. The cargo was delivered on April 1 to New York by an An-124 aircraft of the Russian Air Force.


"It can save many lives. I will accept this any day, " Donald trump commented on Russia's gesture.
