Tunisia has strongly condemned recent terrorist attacks by militants in northern Syria and called on the international community to support the country in preserving its sovereignty and territorial integrity. This was stated in an official release by the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The Republic of Tunisia expresses its full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic and calls on the international community to assist this brotherly nation in safeguarding its sovereignty, the safety of its people, its stability, and territorial integrity," the statement read, as published on the ministry’s official Facebook page (banned in Russia, owned by Meta corporation, considered extremist in Russia).
