Turkish authorities deny on Tuesday information that Turkish F-16 from the territory of Azerbaijan was shot down by Armenian Air Force Su-25 attack aircraft. This was reported by Bloomberg agency with reference to the head of the relations department of the Presidential Administration of Turkey Fahrettin Altun.
"The information that an Armenian plane was shot down does not correspond to reality," Altun said and called the dissemination of such reports "a propaganda trick.
Earlier, the Armenian Defense Ministry made a statement that a Turkish F-16 fighter plane shot down an Armenian Su-25. The military department reports that the Turkish plane on the territory of Azerbaijan covered the actions of the armed forces of that republic that were striking the Armenian city of Vardenis.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan calls this information false.
