Turkey is negotiating with Ukraine and Russia about its ships blocked off the Ukrainian coast of the Black Sea, Turkey's Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoglu said on Friday.

"We are negotiating with both Russia and Ukraine," CNN TURK quoted him as saying. - "We have 22 ships blocked off the Black Sea coast of Ukraine, we need to get them out of there. We need to take ships with sunflower oil and steel".

Earlier, the Turkish media reported that some dry cargo vessels were blocked in the Sea of Azov due to the situation in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Turkey's General Directorate of Navigation reported that Turkish vessels continue cargo operations in Russian ports, except for ports in the Sea of Azov.
