Turkish authorities have increased security at the Russian Embassy in Ankara

Turkish authorities have increased  security at the Russian Embassy in Ankara. According to RIA Novosti, this measure was taken after the death of 33 Turkish soldiers in Idlib, Syria.


Several police cars are on duty around the perimeter of the Russian Embassy, and reinforced police units with guns patrol the streets adjacent to the Russian diplomatic mission.


Turkish soldiers were killed in an air attack by government troops, more than three dozen people were injured.


The Russian Defense Ministry said that Syrian troops attacked  Turkish soldiers who were with the terrorists in the Idlib zone near the settlement of Behun and "should not have been there." There was no Russian air force aircraft in the area of Behun.
