Russia received almost $1 million worth of humanitarian aid from Turkmenistan against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko told at a meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs.
"Turkmenistan is probably the only country in Central Asia that provided Russia with humanitarian aid during the pandemic," he said. - "It sent a large cargo [in the amount of] about $1 million to Astrakhan: food, oil products and other things".
As Rudenko noted, relations between the two countries demonstrate positive dynamics, which is also reflected in an increase in trade turnover.
