Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Russians on Russia Day on Friday during his first official foreign visit.
"I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you and the Russian people on the upcoming Russia Day and wish peace, well-being and prosperity," he said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked his Russian colleague for his personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations.

Thank you!" , he said on Friday at a meeting with Putin in Moscow during his first official foreign visit as head of state.
Relations between Russia and Turkmenistan have been successfully developing for 30 years in a wide range of areas, the Turkmenistan president said.
