Employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan have detained two female citizens suspected of burning state flags. The press center of the GKNB reported that the detainees are members of the extremist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is banned in Russia.
According to the report, the incident occurred on the night of May 29-30, 2024, in the village of Bek-Abad, Suzak district, Jalal-Abad region. They then burned the state flags at an intersection in the village.
