At least two Palestinians were killed Monday in clashes with Israel Defense Forces soldiers in the West Bank city of Nablus. The Palestinian Ministry of health reported on its official Facebook page (banned in Russia; belongs to Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist in Russia).
The agency did not provide detailed information about the victims. WAFA reported that large Israeli military units entered Nablus on Monday morning and clashes broke out between them and the Palestinians. The military used tear gas grenades.
Israeli security forces have continued daily counterterrorism operations and raids in the West Bank since April 10, 2022, in response to a series of terrorist attacks in Jewish state cities that killed 20 people. According to WAFA calculations, the number of Palestinian deaths since the beginning of 2023 alone has reached 94, 17 of them women and children.
