The third phase of clinical trials of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine in the United Arab Emirates is close to completion, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan said on Monday at a press conference following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
"I take great pride in the fact that cooperation continues between the experts and working groups of our countries in various fields," he said. - "It is gratifying that the third stage of clinical trials of the Russian COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V is nearing completion in the UAE".
As the minister noted, the UAE and the Russian Federation have a strategic partnership. "And in the period of the pandemic, this special nature of the relationship between our countries has become clearer than ever for us. We intend to fully promote this relationship in the future," he pointed out.
