In modern conditions, when the level of interreligious hatred is growing all over the world, the experience of interfaith cooperation in Russia can serve as a good example. This opinion was expressed by a representative of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the UAE Dana Humaid during her speech at the interreligious conference "Hatred in our world, hatred in our city" in Moscow.
"The level of hatred in the world is growing. However, Russia is just a bright spot on the world map. The Russian example can be used as an example to follow," she said in particular.
It should be noted that the conference was organized by the Conference of European Rabbis together with the Interfaith Alliance for Safer Communities. Representatives of the Muslim, Christian and Jewish communities, as well as representatives of the authorities and public figures of Russia and the UAE, took part in the discussion.
The objectives of the conference were to raise awareness of the problems associated with hate crimes and to discuss the role of religious leaders in combating these crimes.
