President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in a telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Monday pointed to the importance of maintaining stability in Russia, WAM reports.
The UAE president stressed the need to maintain stability in Russia, the security of the friendly Russian people and their well-being, the state agency said. The Russian and UAE leaders also discussed strategic relations between the two countries and ways to develop them.
On Monday, the Kremlin press service reported that Putin had a telephone conversation with his UAE counterpart. It was noted that Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed full support for the Russian leadership's actions in connection with the June 24 attempted rebellion.
