Since the start of Israel's military operation against the Shiite movement Hezbollah in late September, more than 440,000 refugees have left Lebanon, according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Lebanon.
The report, citing data from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, indicates that around 440,000 people have crossed from Lebanon into Syria since September 23.
Additionally, the document notes that another 22,000 Lebanese nationals have sought refuge in Iraq.
