19 November

At least 212 healthcare workers have been killed in Lebanon since October 2023 due to the escalating Middle East conflict, according to a report from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

The report highlights that Israel has carried out 136 attacks on medical facilities since October, with 70 healthcare workers losing their lives just in the past week. These attacks have significantly impacted healthcare services, forcing 21 of Lebanon's 178 medical facilities to either shut down or scale back their operations.
