The UN Security Council has scheduled a meeting on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict for Friday, November 10. The office of the UN Secretary-General's spokesman confirmed this information to reporters on Thursday.
The meeting, titled "The situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question," is set for 15:00 local time (23:00 Moscow time).
Following last month's failure to pass any of the four draft resolutions on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the Security Council's ten non-permanent members are now collaborating on a new document. This new draft is expected to incorporate elements from previous resolutions.
