The US President Donald Trump announced the main provisions of the so-called "deal of the century"-the plan for a Palestinian-Israeli settlement developed by Washington.
The main provision of the document is the concept of "Two States for Two Peoples". At the same time, the Jewish settlements on the West Bank of the Jordan river should become a part of Israel, while East Jerusalem will be the capital of Palestine, which should become a full-fledged state.
The Palestinian side did not support Trump's plan and appealed to the League of Arab States to hold an emergency meeting of the organization in order to develop a unified position of the Arab world on this issue. The event is scheduled for next Saturday.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will arrive in Moscow today to personally present the "deal of the century" to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
