In the second half of June this year, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Russia, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Ilkhomjon Ne'matov said.
"Currently, the foreign policy and many other departments of the two countries are preparing for it, its timing is also connected to the completion of the reconstruction of a well-known object on the territory of VDNH", Ne'matov noted.
Earlier, the Moscow Mayor's office reported that in 2020 it is planned to open national pavilions of several republics, including Uzbekistan, at VDNH.
As part of Mirziyoyev's visit, a number of events are planned, including a media forum.
