On August 12, 2021, in the framework of the events of the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia - Islamic World" the V International Summer School "Bulgarian dialogue of cultures - 2021" on the theme "Education and dialogue of religions. The experience of Russia and the countries of the Islamic world". This year's event will take place in the form of an online conference. The organizers are the Foundation for Strategic Dialogue and Partnership with the Islamic World, the Bulgarian Islamic Academy and the Project Office for International Youth Cooperation "Russia-OIC".
"Bulgarian dialogue of cultures-2021" will be a jubilee - the fifth forum. The International Summer School "Bulgarian dialogue of cultures-2021" promotes the development of international institutions for intercultural dialogue, the formation of intercultural communication practices in youth through learning about the historical and contemporary aspects of the relationship of education in the harmonious development of interfaith relations.
Authoritative Russian and international experts, scientists theologians, who possess a unique wealth of practical knowledge about the history of major religions and their development in our days, will take part in the forum.
As part of the preparatory phase, an open essay contest was held in Russian on several topics. This year representatives from various regions of the Russian Federation took part in the contest: the Republic of Dagestan, the Nizhniy Novgorod Region, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chechen Republic, the Stavropol Krai, as well as from neighboring countries: the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
