VIII International Security Conference has launched in Moscow

The VIII Moscow International Security Conference, organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, has launched today in the Russian capital.

 

 

The central themes this year will be the problems of global and regional stability, the restoration of Syria and Iraq, as well as various aspects of security in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

 

 


Special attention is planning to be paid to the issues of missile defense, the placement of weapons in space, as well as international peacemaking and new approaches to military cooperation.

 

 


More than 1,000 guests arrived in Moscow to attend the Forum, including Ministers of Defense, Chiefs of General Staffs, Delegations of Military Departments and Representatives of the Expert Community from 111 countries of the world, as well as Leaders of International Organizations - the CIS, CSTO, SCO, UN, OSCE, ICRC and etc.
