Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The main topic of discussion was the current situation on the global hydrocarbons market.
The two leaders, according to the Kremlin's press service, confirmed their readiness to further coordinate their actions in the OPEC+ format to ensure stability on the global oil market.
"At the initiative of the Saudi side, Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The current situation on the global hydrocarbon market was discussed in detail. Both sides confirmed their readiness to further coordinate actions in the OPEC+ format to ensure the stability of the global oil market", the message reads.
The parties agreed to continue contacts at various levels.
