Vladimir Putin approved the signing of the agreement on pensions provision in the EAEU

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a proposal to sign the Agreement on pensions provision for the employees of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The corresponding order is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.


The document, as noted, can be signed at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.


The agreement provides for the development of an international treaty regulating pension provision between the EAEU member states -  Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Russia.


According to the document, pensions will be provided by the member state where the work experience is acquired. The employee, at the same time, will be able to apply either to the pension authorities of the state of residence or the state of employment.
