Vladimir Putin awarded Russia's Special Representative for Afghanistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Zamir Kabulov, Special Representative for Afghanistan and Director of the Second Asia Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Alexander Nevsky order for his great contribution to the implementation of the foreign policy of the Russian Federation and long-term conscientious diplomatic service.


This is stated in the decree of the head of state, published on the portal of legal information.


Mikhail Evdokimov, Director of the first CIS Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, was awarded the order of Honor, and Vladimir Malygin, Russian Ambassador to Malta, was awarded the order of Friendship.


By the same decree, MGIMO rector Anatoly Torkunov was awarded the honorary title of honored worker of the Russian foreign service.
