The situation with the coronavirus in Russia is changing, and this makes it possible to return to the issues of the current and long-term agenda, Vladimir Putin said at a meeting, via videoconference, on the development of genetic technology.
According to him, the country has entered the first stage of restoring the usual rhythm of life.
"It is essential to deliver in a proactive and effective manner on the strategic objectives and large-scale projects with a long planning horizon and generate momentum," Putin noted.
At the same time, Vladimir Putin assured that the authorities will continue to take urgent measures to support the people and the economy.
Earlier today, the operational headquarters for preventing the spread of COVID-19 reported that 9974 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Russia over the past day. The number is less than 10,000 mark for the first time since May 2.
The total number of infected people since the beginning of the epidemic has exceeded 252 thousand people, and 2305 patients died.
