Vladimir Putin congratulated the Central Armed Forces Museum of Russia on its anniversary

Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory telegram to the participants of the solemn meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Central Armed Forces Museum of Russia. The text of the message is published by the Kremlin press service.


"I am pleased to note the creative, painstaking work of the Museum members, who sincerely love and know their work. They pay unremitting attention to popular research, exhibition activities, implement large-scale Patriotic, educational, information projects, attract children and young people to our historical heritage", the telegram reads, in particular.


This anniversary, as Vladimir Putin stressed, the Museum marks as a major educational, cultural and scientific center, known far beyond the borders of Russia.


"The rich collection of the Museum includes unique archival, video and photo materials, samples of weapons and military equipment, telling about the key stages of the formation and development of the armed forces. And of course, in a special, the most important section of the exhibition carefully saves military awards, personal belongings, priceless relics of the front - as evidence of heroism, courage and bravery of soldiers and officers of the Red Army in the Great Patriotic War", said the head of state.
