Vladimir Putin held a meeting of the Russian Security Council on Idlib and coronavirus

Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin held an operational meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.


The event, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, was attended by Speakers of both houses of Parliament Valentina Matvienko and Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Head of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Secretary of the Security Council  Nikolay Patrushev, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, FSB leaders Alexander Bortnikov and SVR Sergey Naryshkin, and others.


"The participants of the meeting discussed the implementation of agreements on Idlib concluded during the recent working visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. There was also an exchange of views on the situation related to strong volatility in international markets. They also talked about the situation in the world around the threat of coronavirus", Peskov said, in particular.
