Vladimir Putin noted the high level of relations with Tajikistan

Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on Independence Day, which is celebrated today, September 9.

 

 


"Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the national holiday - Independence Day. The President of Russia highly praised Tajikistan’s progress in economic and social development as well as its important and constructive role in regional and international affairs", the message reads.

 

 


Putin also noted "the high level of bilateral relations, the substantive political dialogue, mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, as well as the good results of coordinated efforts within the CIS, the CSTO, the SCO, the UN and the OSCE".

 

 


The President of Russia expressed his confidence "in the further promotion of the alliance and strategic partnership between Russia and Tajikistan in the interests of the two nations in order to provide stability and security in Central Asia".
