Vladimir Putin to visit Chechnya in 2020

Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to visit Chechnya in 2020, the head of the Republic Ramzan Kadyrov told reporters.
"The President's visit was planned  this year, but then it was postponed to the next year," he said, in particular.


According to Kadyrov, he will show the Russian leader Chechnya and say "thank you for the blossoming Republic".


Kadyrov invited Putin to visit Chechnya during a meeting in August of this year. The Russian President noted that he had not been in the Republic for a long time and promised to come, adding that the region is developing at a good pace thanks to the efforts and talents of the Chechen people, as well as the work of the head of the Republic.
