Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The visits are scheduled for October 14-15, Aide to the President Yuri Ushakov told reporters.
"These visits are important, they have been prepared for a long time, and they are really now of particular relevance in connection with the situation in the Middle East and North Africa", - he said.
Ushakov recalled that the previous trip of the President of the Russian Federation to Saudi Arabia took place in February 2007, and in October 2017, for the first time in history, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud paid a visit to Russia. The Russian leader was in the UAE in 2007.
