State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin on Monday discussed the agenda of the meeting of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO PA) in a telephone conversation with the chairman of the lower house of the Tajik parliament, Makhmadtoir Zoir Zokirzoda. This is reported on the official website of the State Duma.
"Vyacheslav Volodin discussed issues of the upcoming meeting of the CSTO PA Council with Makhmadtoir Zoir Zokirzoda. <...> During the conversation, they discussed issues on the agenda of the upcoming CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council, which will be held on June 6 in Yerevan," the statement said.
Earlier, Volodin discussed preparations for the meeting with the chairman of the Kyrgyz Zhogorku Kenesh, Talant Mamytov, the head of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament, Yerlan Koshanov, the chairman of the Armenian National Assembly, Alain Simonyan, and the head of the House of Representatives of the Belarusian National Assembly, Vladimir Andreychenko.
