Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin held telephone talks with Speaker of the National Council of the Supreme Assembly (upper house of parliament) of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali.
They discussed preparations for the meeting of the Council and the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO PA), scheduled to take place in Moscow on December 19.
According to Volodin, the relations between the two countries are "dynamically developing on the principles of respect and mutually beneficial cooperation."
