Volodin to take part in conference on inter-parliamentary cooperation of CIS countries

On Wednesday, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin will take part in the international conference dedicated to the role of interaction between different political parties in inter-parliamentary cooperation between the CIS countries. This was reported by the press service of the chamber.


"On December 14 in Moscow, Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin will take part in the III International Conference "The Role of Interaction between Factions of Political Parties and Blocs in Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the CIS," the press service reported.


Representatives of factions and blocs of the parliaments of Abkhazia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Transnistria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, South Ossetia, as well as the heads and deputies of all factions of political parties of the State Duma will participate in the event.


The first and second International Conferences "The Role of Interaction between Factions of Political Parties and Blocs in Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the CIS" were held in the State Duma in 2018 and 2019. Due to restrictive measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, the conference was not held in 2020 and 2021.
