Starting from July 15, 2023, Ural Airlines, a Russian airline company, will introduce regular flights between Kazan and Bishkek, leading to a significant increase in the number of flights connecting the two cities. The announcement was made by Manas International Airport JSC (MIA), the entity overseeing major airports in Kyrgyzstan.
Ural Airlines will operate its first regular flight on the Kazan-Bishkek-Kazan route, adding to the existing flight options from Bishkek to Kazan. Flights in this direction will initially take place once a week on Saturdays. It is worth noting that other airlines currently offer flights on this route four times a week, specifically on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, as highlighted by MIA.
Kyrgyzstan currently offers direct flights to nearly two dozen Russian cities from its three international airports located in the capital, the regional center of Osh, and near the village of Tamchy in the popular Issyk-Kul resort region.
