Russia and Turkey continue to implement the Sochi Memorandum on Syria, the removal of YPG elements and their weapons has been completed, Official Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told a briefing.
"In Trans-Euphratia we cooperate with Ankara on the implementation of the October 22 Memorandum. This work is proceeding along two tracks: prevention of relapses of hostilities and improvement of the humanitarian situation. A demilitarized zone was created along the perimeter of the area of the Peace Spring operation. A Russian-Turkish coordination center is functioning," she noted.
Russian specialists, according to Zakharova, provide medical assistance to civilians, distribute food parcels and restore water and electric power facilities.
