Moscow welcomes the agreement between Israel and Hamas on a four-day humanitarian pause, stated Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, according to TASS.
"Moscow welcomes the agreement reached between Israel and Hamas for a four-day humanitarian pause. This aligns with Russia's persistent call for de-escalation since the beginning of the conflict," - she stated. "We acknowledge Qatar's significant efforts in practically realizing the global community's call for de-escalation."
Earlier, the Qatari Foreign Ministry confirmed an agreement on a four-day humanitarian pause in the fighting between Israel and Hamas. The start time of the humanitarian pause will be announced within 24 hours, as noted by the Qatari Foreign Ministry.
