Political processes taking place in the world can lead to changes in the existing world order. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov said this on Monday in an address to the country's diplomats on the occasion of their professional holiday.

"The current complex geopolitical situation is seriously affecting the system of international and foreign economic relations. The world has entered the process of turbulence that threatens the established world order, there are signs of weakening the role of international institutions and international law and there are new challenges and threats to security," said the head of the state.

According to him, under these "difficult conditions" Kyrgyzstan, like the rest of the international community, has focused "on the protection of national interests in the world." "In this regard, the key role is assigned to the bodies of the diplomatic service, which are on the front lines," Zhaparov is convinced.

As he believes, the actions of the Kyrgyz diplomats create favorable conditions for the "socio-economic development of the country, increasing the welfare of the population, ensuring its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity."

"Of particular importance is the promotion of economic diplomacy aimed at attracting foreign investment to the country, expanding the geography of trade and economic cooperation and helping to make Kyrgyzstan more attractive to investors," the president stressed.
