According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the evolving military-political and humanitarian situation in the Republic of Yemen, primarily in its southern provinces, was a central topic of discussion.
Particularly noted was the need for an early end to the ongoing armed confrontation in the country, as well as the establishment of a comprehensive Yemeni settlement process, involving the participation of all the leading political forces in agreeing on the key issues of the future Yemen.
