In Russia, there are not enough mosques where Muslims could pray. The solution to this could be the creation of prayer rooms in the country, chairman of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia Albir Krganov told RIA Novosti.

“Both religious organizations and officials who make decisions on this matter have to find a solution so that the practice of prayer does not bother citizens, does not interfere with their lives and is convenient for believers. It may not necessarily be a mosque with a dome and minaret, but a prayer room - musalla, equipped for prayers, ”the agency quotes, in particular, a religious figure.

Albir Krganov cited as an example the experience of Europe and the United States, where "several hundred prayer rooms" operate in big cities. For Muslims, a mosque, according to the mufti, is the whole land, except for latrines and cemeteries, but Islamic etiquette encourages believers not to pray for show, but to find a convenient secluded place.

At the same time, the time of prayer can be slightly adjusted.

“Doctors do not leave the patient on the operating table for the prayer ... The prayer time is not minutes or seconds, but several hours,” he concluded.
